Welcome to my world, via my words and photos. I hope to use this site to share some pieces that I've written in the past and to share my thoughts on whatever happens to be bouncing around in my head each day. You never know WHAT'S going to bounce around in there! According to the last personality quiz I took online, I am only 9% normal - so as long as I'm not 91% more boring than the rest of the population, I suppose we'll do just fine. :-)
Yes, it's official! Dad can now take early retirement if he wants to. The thought amazes me - parents are not supposed to age, darn it.

Well, I'm 42 and incredibly lucky - I'm married to my best friend. Also in my life are two spoiled mutts,two younger brothers that turned out great despite our childhood battles, two great sister-in-laws, four fantastic nieces, two fun nephews, and the requisite two parents, both of whom spoil me dreadfully. I fill my time with work, playing with 'the boys' (dogs), avoiding housework, reading everything I can lay my hands on, some gardening, some minor home repairs, photographing everything that doesn't manage to escape me, and hanging out with friends and their families.
