Fuming...

I just got home and I am hot! The rose of Sharon bushes that I have carefully tended for over a year - which were finally a lovely 2 ft tall and soon to bloom for the first time - are now 2 inch nubs. SOMEONE took it upon themselves to mow them down. I am furious!

I should have known it was gonna be "one of those days" when I was woken at 2:30 am by the sounds of Midas losing his supper - thank God, NOT on the bed.

There will be a sign in my yard tomorrow - "WHO MOWED MY BUSHES DOWN YESTERDAY? LEAVE MY YARD ALONE!!!"
